What are the procedures for buying shares |
|

Every investor who wishes to buy shares on the GSE should have or open a GSD Account (Security Account) to enable transaction executed on his/her account through the automated platform of the Ghana Stock Exchnage. |
4.1 Individual Investor
Requirements for opening GSD account:
- One passport size photograph
- One valid ID card (a copy of any of the following):
- National Health Insurance Card; or
- National Identification Card.
- Completed Purchase Order form
4.2 Institutional Investor
Requirements for opening GSD account:
- Certified true copy of certificate of incorporation;
- Certified true copy of company regulation or constitution;
- Certified true copy of certificate to commence business;
- Resolution from the board of directors to open a GSD account;
- Specimen signatures of authorised signatories of the depository account;
- Endorsed passport size photographs of signatories to the depository account;
- Copies of the ID of the authorised signatories;
- Completed PSBL KYC form; and
